How does Ad Revenue Sharing work on MMA News Weekly?
We've setup the site to allow ad revenue to be shared between all active members of this MMA Community website.

MMA News Weekling displays Google Adsense advertisement on articles that you submit to MMA News Weekly. We use Google AdSense to automatically serve relevant ads for the content on the page. Google pays AdSense publishers on a per click basis as well as per impression.

MMA News Weekly members will need to have an AdSense account. Members they have the ability to credit their account with the ads served on threads they start or participate in.

Why are you doing this?
MMA News Weekly is nothing without it's MMA fans. So why not let the users make a little money on articles that they submit.

What are the restrictions?
  • You must have an AdSense account through Google.

  • For articles you submit, your AdSense client ID will be used 60% of the time the article is viewed.

How do I set it up?
You will need to register and Become an MMA News Weekly Member. Within your profile page, you'll be able to enter your AdSense client ID (this starts with pub- and is within the HTML Google generates for you in your account) and AdSense Channel.

Once you have a Google AdSense client ID on your account. Any article you submit has a chance to show ads that credit your AdSense account.

How long will you be doing this?
While I can't guarantee it will run forever, there are no plans to stop it at any point.

But we do retain the right to halt the program or make adjustments to it as necessary if it's not working out in it's current form for whatever reason.

I look at the HTML source on articles I've submitted and I never see my AdSense Client ID.
This is done to prevent member from clicking on their own ads which will violate the Google Adsense Terms of Service. When logged in, you'll see either MMA News Weekly main Adsense ID or that of the other members to stop you clicking on your own ads.
